A NIGHT OF MERRIMENT TURNS TO TERROR  

 Although there are many relaxation centres scattered all over  Lagos. From Ikeja to  Alimosho and the rest of  Lagos, these fun  places  put  Lagos into a good shape and as we know  Lagos  as a city is filled with people who like going to the relaxation centres. Lately, people after hard times in their offices go there to relax their mind but instead it turned out to be something else.

 A few weeks ago, tear gas was thrown into the premises of Sunset Relaxation Center and  this center is very popular within the Igando Road and a peaceful one.

The  time was about 9 pm and the relaxation center was a peaceful one  with different pople after a stressful job, some were drinking, while some were eating “Nwkobi”, and the popular “Isiewu”(Goat Meat) while few people were smoking, the environment was so cool.

Suddenly, people started perceiving strange smell which was so hectic and  bad. Mr. Kunle Adeyemi who works at Gtbank said, ”he goes to Sunset often after the hard and stressful work. He further said that he has never witnessed such an incident since he has been coming  here . Although,the “Area Boys” did a good job by putting things in order.

The situation was so bad that most of the motorist who came to drink were tipsy because of the number of bottle of beer they took.

One of the stranded fun seekers, Mr. Lawal said ”he spent two hours there and was hiding under the table and could  not control himself” . He really appreciated the chairman’s effort.

The lady who sells pepper soup  said that, “some of her customers who already booked for pepper soup left when she was preparing pepper soup. Mr Nweze, the owner of sunset later called the  atention of the police when the situation died down. He lamented that who want to spoil his businees. He also overheard some fun sekeers whispering to each other not to come to the environment again.
